چکیده
The aim of this study is to evaluate the use and applicability Platelet-rich Fibrin (PRF) in surgical procedures exodontia. methodology was perform an integrative literature review that developed six phases, which guiding question elaborated by means PICo strategy. Thus bibliographic searches were performed electronic portals PubMed, LILACS Cochrane Library, with keywords Platelet-Rich Fibrin, Extraction Regeneration, 20 articles selected for development review. he PRF has been increasingly effective its various applications, especially soft tissue healing, post-exodontia, contributing healing time, morbidity amount analgesics needed reduce pain. Given above, it clear a high capacity stimulation regeneration natural process tissues at extraction sites. Recent findings indicate PRP can be considered as efficient, cost-effective simple therapeutic support procedures. Furthermore, tooth shown advantageous terms bone regeneration, well having expressive role reducing risk delay recovery patients undergoing therapies oral bisphosphonates. Improvements techniques used summed up, further studies clinical trials larger samples may confirm results discussed work.

Introduction: The healing process after surgery is a challenging issue for surgeons. Various materials and techniques have been developed to facilitate this process and reduce its period. Fibrin adhesives are often used in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery to seal diffuse microvascular bleeding and in general and plastic surgery to seal wound borders. This Case report and literature review ...
متن کاملIn search of a consensus terminology in the field of platelet concentrates for surgical use: platelet-rich plasma (PRP), platelet-rich fibrin (PRF), fibrin gel polymerization and leukocytes.
In the field of platelet concentrates for surgical use, most products are termed Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP). Unfortunately, this term is very general and incomplete, leading to many confusions in the scientific database. In this article, a panel of experts discusses this issue and proposes an accurate and simple terminology system for platelet concentrates for surgical use. Four main categories...

متن کاملClassification of platelet concentrates: from pure platelet-rich plasma (P-PRP) to leucocyte- and platelet-rich fibrin (L-PRF).
The topical use of platelet concentrates is recent and its efficiency remains controversial. Several techniques for platelet concentrates are available; however, their applications have been confusing because each method leads to a different product with different biology and potential uses. Here, we present classification of the different platelet concentrates into four categories, depending o...
متن کاملPlatelet-rich fibrin (PRF): a second-generation platelet concentrate. Part IV: clinical effects on tissue healing.
Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) belongs to a new generation of platelet concentrates, with simplified processing and without biochemical blood handling. In this fourth article, investigation is made into the previously evaluated biology of PRF with the first established clinical results, to determine the potential fields of application for this biomaterial. The reasoning is structured around 4 funda...
